OLIVEOILANDBALSAMIC

THE DRAAG ENCYCLOPEDIA

CONTAINS TOUR SPOILERS

2MS

DRAAG's news station. Broadcasted "La Transmisión de la Ciudad de Mexico".

pre-show ad : "Evening news at 10. Your only source for world news."

2009 Baruva Dart

A fictional car that was given to the woman who survived the execution at the Arlington show. Has a brand new goat in the back seat. [x]

The Black Parade

A fictional band played by MCR that was believed to have died in a fire after their 2007 show "The Black Parade is Dead!" in Mexico City, at which time they were sent to "the MOAT". Recently "discovered" to be alive (though it's theorized that DRAAG had a hand in their revival). Since this discovery was made, their work priveledges have been reinstated and they have been named His Grand Immortal Dictator's National Band. [x]

The Cabinet of Operative Retaliations

entry coming soon

The Clerk

A character in the Long Live shows who is in a position of power, working with DRAAG. His role in the tour includes slapping Gerard, forcing them back into their Parade jacket when they take it off, and giving them messages on paper.

So far these messages have read: "Mother doesn't love you anymore" (7/11), "Mother wants you disciplined" (7/19), "A horse with a silver tail neighs on a high hill" (7/27). We do not have the messages from 7/26 or 8/2.

In Los Angeles he was photographed with a checklist of things to do during the show, ending with "Do what must be done," which likely refers to killing Gerard. [x] [x]

In Arlington, he came onstage while the crew was setting up and berated one of the members, then did something that looked like taking a note of what they did wrong [x]. After that he dragged Gerard onstage at the beginning of the show. [x]

The Clown

A character in the Long Live shows dressed as a clown/pierrot who seems to be controlled by DRAAG in some way. At every show he stabs Gerard, though he doesn't seem to know that he's doing it until he's done, and then gets blown up at the end of Blood by a bomb strapped to his chest.

It's theorized that this is the same character as The Clerk, since the Clerk's checklist made it seem like it was his own job to kill Gerard, and both characters are played by Charlie Saxton.

The Concrete Age

The name for the time period that the Long Live tour is set in.

"...a great Dictator has risen to power, bringing about "THE CONCRETE AGE”; a glorious time of stability and abundance in the history of DRAAG." [x]

Theorized to take place between The Black Parade's death in 2007 and the events of Danger Days in 2019. This theory is also supported by the 2009 Baruva Dart, which Gerard calls a "brand new car". [x]

DRAAG

The fictional dictatorship that the Long Live tour is set in. It's unclear where it is and how big it is, but Gerard has called it a "country". [x] It is also referred to as "The DRAAG" on DRAAG's crest (?)(not sure what to call this).

Not much is known about DRAAG, including what the acronym stands for. It has power over Mexico City, going by La Transmisión de la Ciudad de Mexico. It's likely that it's actively at war, going by the new verses in Mama and the M.O.R. sequence.

Draagoshka

The name for the citizens of DRAAG.

DNAB

The DRAAG National Auxiliary Band, or DNAB, plays backup for The Black Parade.[x]. An auxiliary band can be synonymous with a Color Guard. [x]. DNAB is also "band" backwards. Which is funny.

Elexecution

The name for the election/executions that happen at every Long Live show. Four masked people are stood on the stage, and it's up to the audience to vote whether they get executed or not. The vote is rigged so that they always die.

Details and transcriptions of each elexecution, including the prisoner's crimes (or lack thereof), have been moved to oliveoilandbalsamic's Execution Log! (At the bottom left of the page).

(I was so sure that fans came up with this word but here's Gerard saying it: x)

The Helium Wars

entry coming soon

His Grand Immortal Dictator

The dictator of DRAAG. Very little is known about him, including why, how, or if he is immortal, but it's theorized that he has the power to ressurect people (namely Gerard, who dies at the end of every show but is still forced to play every week).

At the first two shows he was portrayed as a wax figure/puppet/mannequin (?). He has been present at shows as a real guy since the LA show on 7/26.

He is 6’5”, currently based in Los Angeles. Special skills include: allied leadership, motivating large groups of people, and horseback riding. He is SAG-eligible, and repped by DAA. Sizes available upon request. [x]

Keposhka

DRAAG's language. More info on oliveoilandbalsamic's page.

Mama (extended version)

A new set of lore-heavy lyrics have been added to "Mama".

"I’ve got a secret/ We’ve got a song/ Slim as a sliver/ Not very long
And if you like it/ Blow us a kiss/ It’s nearly started/ It goes like this:

A dagger, a dagger, please fetch me a dagger for all of our treasonous deeds
A delicate matter, yes trust me a dagger is just what this plan of ours needs.
We'll follow the script to the letter, deposit/abandon his corpse in the sea
You can't see Berlin with the sun in your eyes
To fail is ---- (screaming--unsure)
We'll be walking the park in the fall
They'd laugh and we point at them all
With tears in our eyes we collapse on the grasses/coffins/crosses
And say death be the sum of us all
This war be the sum/son of us all."
[x] [x] [x] [x]

Marianne

A character who is high in the DRAAG hierarchy, either working for or with His Grand Immortal Dictator. For the tour she begins shows by singing DRAAG's national anthem and sings Liza Minelli's part in Mama. She appears to be blind, as she carries a cane, wears dark glasses, and needs to be guided onstage. [x] [x]

She is played by Lucy Joy Altus.

Ministry of Complementary Conditioning

A phrase written on the bottom of the Seattle setlist. [x]

During a show Gerard also referred to it as the "Ministry of Complementary Reconditioning". [x]

Ministry of Menial Tasks

The band's crew wears shirts reading "MMT Draag Ministry of Menial Tasks". [x]

MOAT

Currently unknown. Maybe DRAAG's prison, though The Black Parade was sent there when they were believed to be dead. It's possible that the dictator always knew that they were alive and imprisoned them while pretending that they were dead, but it seems unlikely that that information would be willingly shared, which adds to the theory that DRAAG's leaders have control over life and death, and the MOAT can serve as both a prison and an afterlife.

"It has been seventeen years since The Black Parade was sent to the MOAT".

Gerard's in-character comments about the MOAT:
"There’s one person we must make noise for. The one who has brought us here, straight out of the MOAT, courtesy of The Ministry of Complementary Reconditioning: His Grand Immortal Dictator." [x]
"Thank you for being here with us. Brought to you by a very fine establishment called The MOAT, in the special program of The Ministry of Complementary Reconditioning; we are here for you tonight, at the courtesy, at the request of His Grand Immortal Dictator." [x]

Concert security and staff wear shirts reading "MOAT" on the back.

M.O.R. Sequence

A phrase displayed behind the band during Sleep over two repeating paragraphs that seem to be about war plans and launching a bomb. There are multiple fictional places mentioned, including Poltashka, Sernograd, and Krimzavh, which suggests that the version of the world that DRAAG is in is completely different than our own (at least geographically).

Translation here, though what we have in Keposhka at the moment is very low quality and difficult to read: https://x.com/let_itallburn/status/1944104603353788900

M.O.R. is also what is written under "Our Grand Immortal Dictator" in La Transmisión de la Ciudad de Mexico, but it is not defined.

MURDER magazine

A magazine that Gerard read onstage at the first two Long Live shows. This magazine was first seen in the Na Na Na music video when Kobra Kid picked it up and flipped through it. [x]

This supports the theory that LLTBP and Danger Days take place in the same universe, and DRAAG predates Battery City.

Mustard

Do not vote for mustard on hot dog. People will die. [x]

Over Fields

DRAAG's national anthem

lyrics "Over fields that light the fire in our hearts that burns true
Under wheels of might we cherish our skies never blue

Like a baby’s fists are broken,
Then grow strong enough to choose
To pick up the sword and strike the heart of doom,

We in Draag have learned to prosper in the gloom
Over fields we live to die under the gloom"

The Puppet

A puppet that Gerard holds and reads to between Mama and Sleep. This has been interpreted as her child, or a thing that Gerard can express maternal feelings towards.

So far the books have been about: toy trains (7/27), insects (8/02).

QUIZZO

pre-show ad: "QUIZZO family game. Greater Draaget's favorite game show! Before the nightly news!"

The Secretary

First appeared during the Return tour on 3/11/2023 when Gerard came onstage wearing a suit with a skirt. Over the next few shows, Gerard dressed as the same character but with sunglasses, blood around her eyes, white contact lenses, and a cane with a dog head on the handle, so it seemed like she'd either died or gone blind. She next appeared in the first Long Live tour trailer in the same room that the dictator passes through to look over a balcony at the crowd outside, making it seem like she's also in a position of power. She is still wearing the dark sunglasses, so it's assumed that she's blind, but instead of the cane she has a real Doberman, which may be a service animal. She also appears in the second tour trailer, "Opera", and her dog is being fed in "Feast".

It's theorized that The Secretary and Marianne are the same character. Both the Secretary and a singer dressed similar to Marianne are shown in "Opera", which could be evidence that this theory is incorrect, but it's unclear if the singer in Opera is Marianne.

SKOLANKO

pre-show ad : "The Black Parade is brought to you by SKOLANKO, nature's regulator"

Gerard's ad read before Cancer at the San Francisco show: "We, The Black Parade, are proud to be brought to you by Skolanko: an inviting party feast with all the natural growth-like flavours. Experience the appetising, captivating sensations such as you’ve never tasted. Doctors, nurses, and millions of Draagoshkas enthusiastically recommend Skolanko. Nature’s Regulator."[x]

Wanted posters

Before the shows start, posters are displayed on the screens that read "WANTED" over people's faces with the letters "MXX" in the bottom corner. These are almost identical to the "EXTERMINATE" posters from the Danger Days era. This is another piece of evidence that supports the theory that the LLTBP tour predates the events of Danger Days.[x]

Suggest changes/updates

I want this to be more like a wiki, but since it's a part of my personal neocities I don't feel comfortable giving out the information that would let people directly change it. So!! If you have any suggestions for changes, you can contact me and I'll update the site for you.

email: callerbyte@gmail.com

If you have new information that you want added, please try to include links to sources! (I understand if you can't find any though, that's been the hardest part of making this and I'm happy to help look.) If you want the current wording changed I'd prefer if you sent me exactly what you want it changed to, but less specific suggestions are also very ok.
