this one was gonna be a story about cole (the kid who got shot in the shoulder) and lazarus ("russ", the one who saw him get shot). in the first few pages they're around 15. cole is waiting for the bus to take him home and lazarus is trying to rob a gas station with his friends. laz didn't actually think they were gonna use the gun, and the guilt of leaving cole there basically changed his life forever. after the time skip cole is in college, about to meet a guy who he'll become very codependent with. neither of them know that they've met before. i'm very sad because most of this story was on fandom wiki pages that I wrote around December 2023 and they've all been deleted by the website.
